Gruissem Busts Another

It was recently reported that Philipp Gruissem had sent former World Series of Poker November Niner Sam Holden to the rail. Well, Gruissem has wasted little in claiming another victim to move his stack to 165,000 in chips.

After Gruissem opened to 1,600 from middle position, Kamel Mekdad reraised all in for approximately 10,000 from the small blind. Gruissem called with the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and was up against the {9-Clubs}{2-Spades} for Mekdad.

The flop, turn and river gave Gruissem the win when the {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts} rolled out, and Mekdad was eliminated.
