Joseph Cheong: Three Million Dollar Man

Joseph Cheong Cracks Three Million
Joseph Cheong Cracks Three Million

Christopher Brammer held the button. It folded around to Joseph Cheong in the hijack who made it 65,000. Sergii Baranov called from the small blind and Phil Hellmuth tagged along from the big.

The trio saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and there were two checks to Cheong. He continued for 65,000 and Baranov got out of the way. The {8-Clubs} turned and both players checked to see the {4-Spades} hit the river.

Hellmuth checked for a third time and Cheong reached into his stack. Cheong moved forward a bet of 220,000 and after about twenty seconds Hellmuth called.

Cheong wasted no time flipping up {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a rivered set of fours.

"GOD!" yelped Hellmuth as he shot out of his seat. He showed {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of tens and the second best hand. By winning this pot Cheong is now over three million in chips.
