Hellmuth Picks Off Huge Bluff

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Stephane Albertini opened to 100,000 from the button. Sergii Baranov three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind and Phil Hellmuth flat called from the big blind. Albertini called and the trio saw a flop.

The dealer produced a flop of {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Baranov led for 275,000. Hellmuth called and Albertini folded.

The {Q-Diamonds} turned and Baranov bet 500,000. Hellmuth, once again, almost beat Baranov into the pot with a call.

The {10-Hearts} finished the board and Baranov pushed 1,000,000 into the middle. Hellmuth then went into the tank.

"You got lucky again?" Hellmuth said. "Either that or you're trying to bluff off all your money again. This is so sick. Jacks any good? Sergii? Can you beat jacks?"

Eventually Hellmuth called and showed {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. Baranov mucked his hand and Hellmuth jumped out of his chair, clapped, and yelled "Yes!".
