Bicknell Doubles Up

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Kristen Bicknell just doubled up:

"I opened to 2,000 from mid-position and was called by the player in the big blind. The flop came jack-five-three rainbow. He checked, I bet 3,000, he raised to 8,000 and I called. The turn was a two. He put me all-in for about 25,000 and I called. He had jack-four for top pair with a straight draw, I had pocket queens. The river was a seven so I doubled up!"

Luske Loses a Lot

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Marcel Luske lost a big pot just now:

"I had kings and opened, another guy raised to 9,000 and then another one reraised to 19,000 something. I went all in for about 33,000 and the first guy folded but the other called with ace-king. The ace came, of course," Luske said, with a hint of defeat in his voice.

Cantu Busts Two

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Kristen Bicknell and Fabian Gumz were both just eliminated by Brandon Cantu in two hands.

The first hand Kristen Bicknell had raised to 2,800, Fabian Gumz three-bet shove for 18,500 and then Brandon Cantu four-bet shoved for about 48,000 and Bicknell called.

Brandon Cantu: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Kristen Bicknell: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Fabian Gumz: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} - Cantu hit a flush to eliminate Gumz from the tournament and leave Bicknell behind with about 13 big blinds.

Then Bicknell got it in with sevens against Cantu's ace-jack and the jack fell on the flop so she was sent to the rail and Cantu took the chip lead.
