Allen Kessler bagged a stack as well. He will bring 42,000 into Day 2 and is looking for another deep run, or at least another cash to add to his already impressive history at the WSOP.
The field should reach the money shortly after the start of Day 2 which restarts at 1 p.m. local time. The payout information will be posted shortly.
The players will finish the remaining 24 minutes of level 14 and play one-hour levels down to the final table. There is a little wiggle room in the schedule depending on the exact numbers as the Day 2 field is whittled down to the final day.

The flop of was a big sweat for Ho Law, who picked up a gutshot straight flush draw. The on the turn left Langrock drawing dead, making the river a formality.
The action started rather innocent with a raise to 22,000 by Rene Crha from the hijack and a three-bet to 65,000 by Martin Mulsow in the cutoff. Crha then four-bet to 125,000 and Mulsow moved all in for half a million in chips, 50 big blinds effective. Crha needed no count but rather snap-called for a reason.

Moments before the players were sent on the dinner break, David Urban raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Artan Dedusha called on the button. Abdelhakim Zoufri had other plans and three-bet to 131,000 from the small blind. Once the action was back on Urban, he shoved for around 200,000 and Dedusha folded, but Zoufri called.

Radek Castka raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and fellow Czech Tomas Rous defended the big blind before checking a flop of . Castka continued for 3,000 and Rous called, then checked again the quickly. Castka bet 85,000 and Rous check-raised to 187,000. Castka moved all in a few moments later and Rous called.

Abdelhakim Zoufri raised to 40,000 on the button and Alessandro Laubinger moved all in from the big blind. Zoufri asked for a count and the shove of the German was for 435,000. After plenty of consideration, Zoufri called and the cards were turned over.
