Feature Table: Farrell Takes Down 800,000 Pot on the Flop

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell just took down a big hand which sparked a discussion at the table about what the correct play was after it was done.

The action started when Rainer Kempe raised from the hijack to 34,000. Kristen Bicknell called on the button. Niall Farrell was in the small blind and hesitated for a moment, then three-bet to 152,000. Maria Ho was in the big blind and she asked what Farrell had behind. He was sitting just over 1-million. Ho counted out what looked to be a raise, but instead just called.

Kempe and Bicknell both called behind and it was four ways to the flop. The flop came all hearts, {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Farrell took nearly four minutes before shoving all in for his remaining stack. Ho took about 40 seconds before folding and Kempe and Bicknell both folded in quick succession.

Farrell made a joke about how long it took, saying he was trying to figure out what the right move was. The others talked about it for a little, and it seemed like Bicknell was the only one willing to say what she had before the stream let everyone know.
