First Familiar Faces in the Field

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Aliosha Staes reached the final table of the WSOP International Circuit €1,650 Main Event just yesterday and finished in 9th place for €16,833. The Belgian is among the first familiar faces on Day 1A. One table over is Dutch Boyd, who usually calls Las Vegas his home and ventured out of the US for the first time to compete for a bracelet here in Rozvadov.

Also in: Martin Wendt, Philipp Zukernik, Anatoly Korochenskiy and Paul Berende.

Wiljan van Woerkum claimed the first meaningful pot when he three-bet an open raise to 300 and a call. The Dutchman three-bet to 1,700 in the small blind and found no resistance.
