Double Seat Open Amid Plenty of Confusion

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Double Knockout for Edgars Strupka
Double Knockout for Edgars Strupka

The flop showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Casey Kastle checked in the small blind, as did Milad Oghabian in the big blind. Edgars Strupka bet 2,100 in late position and Kastle check-shoved for 23,500. Oghabian pushed forward his chips and Strupka quickly tossed in a single chip for the call as far superior stack.

Casey Kastle: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Milad Oghabian: {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Edgars Strupka: {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The {K-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river completed the board, but suddenly the floor was called. What had happened? On the flop, Oghabian had kept some T-500 chips behind and was technically not all in. However, his shove over the top of Kastle would have been for his entire stack. As a result, the floor ruled it as accepted action and all chips of Oghabian went to Strupka.
