Guoliang Wei raised to 1,000 and picked up three callers including Dutch Boyd in the big blind. The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and it was the player on the button that bet 3,200 to claim the pot without resistance.

Korochenskiy In Action

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Anatoly Korochenskiy three-bet to 3,400 on the button and the initial raiser called from early position, then checked in the dark before the flop fell {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Korochenskiy bet 11,000 and his opponent folded.

"One time," Korochenskiy said and showed {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}.

In the very next hand, the Russian was in action once more and took on big stack Daniel Prior in the small blind. Prior checked the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} turn and Korochenskiy bet 3,600. Prior was having none of it and his check-raise to 12,200 forced a fold.

Shelukhin Jams Into Heidel

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Picking up the action on the {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} turn, Oliver Heidel bet 5,500 in the small blind and his sole opponent Alexander Shelukhin called on the button. Heidel continued for another 11,000 on the {3-Hearts} river and Shelukhin now moved all in. Heidel counted his remaining stack and elected to fold.

Meskic Eliminated by Lon

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Ondrej Lon's first attempt was not crowned by success and the Czech re-entered soon after to get a different table. Just now he got the better of Mirza Meskic after turning the nut straight against the two pair of Meskic. The chips only went in on the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} river, though, and Lon turned over {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} for the nuts while Meskic mucked {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} in disgust.

In quick succession, Jeff Lisandro and Chris Ferguson have entered Day 1A of the €550 The COLOSSUS. Ferrara Doubles to Big Stack

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The cards of Zuhdija Nasic were already in the muck while he paid off the all in of Marino Ferrara. The Italian had rivered a full house with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} on a board of {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and scored a full double to get well above average.

In the following hand, Nasic doubled in a battle of the blinds against Daniel Prior. Right after the hand, Timo Kamphues joined the same table and his brother Lars sat down one table over.

Ferguson; Kaneoya and de Waegenaere Eliminated

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Chris Ferguson and Renato Kaneoya were spotted walking out of the tournament area and they were followed to the rail by Patrick de Waegenaere. Down to just 6,300, the Dutchman moved all in first to act and Ashot Oganesian reshoved from one seat over to isolate successfully.

Patrick de Waegenaere: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Ashot Oganesian: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop all but sealed the fate for de Waegenaere and he was left drawing dead on the {3-Diamonds} turn, making the {Q-Clubs} river a formality.
