Zyrin takes From Della Longa

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

On the heads-up turn of {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Anatolii Zyrin checked and called a bet of 3,300 by Davide Della Longa on the button. The {4-Hearts} river was checked by Zyrin and Della Longa opted to check behind. Zyrin revealed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens and that won the pot, leaving Della Longa with just shy of one third of the starting stack.

Oghabian Flops the Nuts; Cannot Hold

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Milad Oghabian
Milad Oghabian

The flop showed {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Tomas Petru, as well as Milad Oghabian, had checked out of the blinds. Pavel Kovalenko in late position bet 1,700 and Petru check-raised to 4,300. Oghbanian eyed the stack of his table neighbor carefully and moved all in, which forced an instant fold from Kovalenko.

Petru called it off and was at risk with the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for middle pair and the nut flush draw. Oghabian had a big blind special with {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for the flopped straight only to see his hand fail to hold up on the {2-Clubs} turn and {10-Hearts} river. Petru doubled for 13,700 and put a dent into Oghabian's stack.

Crha Takes From Hawes

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

On the flop of {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Gregory Hawes check-min-raised from 1,000 to 2,000 out of the blinds and Rene Crha called to see the {K-Hearts} on the turn. Hawes bet 4,000 and Crha came along for the ride. On the {2-Diamonds} river, Hawes slowed down and checked. Crha took the opportunity to bet 4,500 and that did the trick to force a fold.

Two tables over, Viliyan Petleshkov was involved in a bigger pot and moved all in for the side of the pot on the {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{Q-Spades} river. His opponent gave it plenty of thought, but ended up folding to award the pot to Petleshkov.

Zukernik Busts Zukorlic

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Edzevit Zukorlic was among the first casualties of the day, re-entered and happened to return to the very same table he busted from. Zukorlic lasted around an hour and just now lost a flip with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} of Philipp Zukernik.

The board of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{A-Spades} provided a queen on the turn and an ace on the river to give Zukernik two pair along with an above-average stack.
