Domanik Busts Ceska

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The flop read {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Jan Ceska shoved for 21,500 from the small blind and Grzegorz Domanik called in the big blind. Roman Sahin in late position also called.

They both checked through the {3-Hearts} on the turn to the {a-Diamonds} on the river. Domanik bet 15,000 and Sahin snap-folded. Ceska tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for the flopped top pair but was beaten by the {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} of Domanik who had rivered a flush to eliminate Caska from Day 1E.

Merzhvinskiy At the Top

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy was suddenly a big stack again and Grzegorz Domanik was gone from his seat. Sander van Wesemael was kind enough to relate what had happened:

"Domanik had opened and Merzhvinskiy had flatted. The flop was {j-}{9-}{6-} and Merzhvinskiy called Domanik's bet again. The turn was the {6-} and the river was the {k-} to give Merzhvinskiy a straight with the {q-}{10-} in his hand. Domanik bet 20,000, Merzhvinskiy raised to 120,000 and Domanik called with {a-}{k-}. Domanik had 50,000 left after that but lost it soon after."
