Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michael Soyza
Michael Soyza

Paul Phua and Michael Soyza both entered before the start of Day 2 and they clashed with Phua ending up as the player at risk.

Paul Phua: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Michael Soyza: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board came {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Phua secured the double, leaving Soyza with just a few big blinds.

"It's okay, I can run it up again. I did the same yesterday and got back to 1.5 million," Soyza said in table chat. He moved all in the next hand and Paul Teoh isolated by moving all in from the button.

Michael Soyza: {J-Spades}{2-Spades}
Paul Teoh: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to keep Soyza's hand second-best and he headed to the rail.

Tariq Leaves Farrell on Crumbs

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Niall Farrell opened to 125,000 from under the gun and was called by Ali Tariq in the small blind along with Jun Wah Yap in the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and the action checked around to the {q-Diamonds} on the turn.

Tariq and Yap checked again and Farrell fired out a bet of 300,000. Tariq called and Yap quickly mucked his cards. The river brought the {8-Diamonds} and Tariq led out with a bet of 350,000. Farrell wasted little time before making the call and Tariq turned over {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Farrell showed the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} as his stack was severely crippled.

Double KO for Aldemir

Level 16 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened from under the gun and Koray Aldemir just called from the button. Adrian Mateos also came along from the big blind to see a flop of {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Mateos shipped all in for his last 500,000 chips and Vogelsang also pushed all in over the top for roughly 1,000,000. Aldemir saw all of the action in front of him and made the call to put both players at risk.

Koray Aldemir: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Christoph Vogelsang: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Adrian Mateos: {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Aldemir was well out front of both players and was looking for a double knockout. The turn brought the {7-Spades} and the river was the {3-Clubs}, sending both Vogelsang and Mateos to the rail.

Huang Busts to Kempe

Level 16 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

"What are you doing man, that's a snap-call," Shan Huang said when he was already all in and at risk against Rainer Kempe. Huang had jammed for 1,355,000 and Kempe gave it some thought before calling.

Shan Huang: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Rainer Kempe: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

On the {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Huang added "oh wow, guess I am drawing dead," which he officially was on the {8-Hearts} turn. This made the {9-Hearts} river a formality and Huang became the latest casualty.

Stefan Schillhabel and Aymon Hata were also seen leaving the tournament area as the field continues to dwindle at a rapid pace.
