Addamo Forces Out Schemion; Chen Triples

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

James Chen was already all in and at risk while Michael Addamo and Ole Schemion in the blinds played for the side pot. On the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} turn, Addamo bet 300,000 and Schemion called with 805,000 behind.

Addamo jammed the {4-Spades} river and Schemion reluctantly surrendered.

Addamo turned over the {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a busted draw and Chen tripled with the {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

"Yessss, I put you on that hand. The only way I could win, Mike," Chen said in table chat. He remains short, however, and needs another triple or double up to get back into contention.

Gonzalez Shrinks the Field

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez raised to 255,000 in early position and Ole Schemion pushed all in for 805,000 in the small blind. Gonzalez asked for a count and then made the call to put Schemion at risk.

Fabrizio Gonzalez: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Ole Schemion: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} to give Gonzalez a pair of aces and the lead. The {6-Clubs} on the turn and the {8-Hearts} on the river was no help to Schemion as he was eliminated.

In the very next hand, Gonzalez made it 260,000 from under the gun. James Chen was in the big blind and ripped all in for his last 885,000. Gonzalez made the call again and was in a great position.

Fabrizio Gonzalez: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
James Chen: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} giving Gonzalez a queen-high straight. Chen exited the tournament area and another table collapsed.

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Catching the tail end of the hand between Rainer Kempe and Mustapha Kanit, it appeared the two players got all of the chips in the middle prelfop. Kanit was the player at risk in the cutoff while Kempe was enjoying his heater in the hijack.

Rainer Kempe: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Mustapha Kanit: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} giving Kanit a straight draw although Kempe was holding two of those outs. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and the river was the {k-Clubs} to give Kempe the win and eliminate Kanit.

Ivan Leow: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Troyanovskiy's full house was more than enough to send Leow to the rail.

Feature Table: Loeser Wins One

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 250,000 from the hijack with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and was called by Timothy Adams in the big blind with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to provide Loeser with top pair with the eights. Adams checked, Manig continued with a bet which Adams called.

The turn brought them the {j-Diamonds} on which they both checked through to the {2-Hearts} on the river to complete the board. Adams stared at the board and decided to bet 120,000. Now it was Loeser's turn to stare at the board, glimpse at Adams, and consider his options. Loeser looked at his cards once more before making the call and take the pot.

Kisacikoglu Runs Into Kings

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger raised to 325,000 on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu shoved all in for around 3,500,000 out of the big blind. Eibinger instantly stuck in chips to call and was crushing Kisacikoglu's hand.

Matthias Eibinger: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Kisacikoglu was left grasping at straws. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave him some life with a flush draw but the {3-Hearts} on the river bricked off. Kisacikoglu left his seat while Eibinger was left stacking over 8,000,000 chips.

Level: 19

Blinds: 80,000/160,000

Ante: 160,000

Feature Table: A Big One for Loeser

Level 19 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 250,000 from the early position with {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and was called by Ognjen Sekularac in the hijack with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades} to provide Loeser with the open-ended straight draw but Sekularac was still ahead with his pocket pair of sixes. Loeser continued with a bet of 350,000, Sekularac looked at his cards once more before raising to 800,000. Loeser contemplated for a few seconds before making the call.

The turn was the {k-Spades} which now gave Loeser some extra outs as he picked up the flush draw. Loeser now checked and Sekularac bet 875,000. Loeser checked how much Sekularac had behind, took another look at his hand and then decided to shove. Sekularac snap-folded.

Two Bustouts in a Row

Level 19 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

The cards of Koray Aldemir were already in the muck while his stack was counted, and he ended up covered by Winfred Yu. The cards of Yu were still showing with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the board of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Rainer Kempe confirmed that Yu had open-shoved for more than 4,000,000 on the button, Aldemir called with {A-}{J-} off suit.

Yu folded the next hand and admitted that he had miscounted his stack and thought he moved all in for just 20 big blinds.

The next hand brought another all in and call, as Mikita Badziakouski raised and called the three-bet shove of Chris Ferguson for 1,370,000.

Chris Ferguson: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Mikita Badziakouski: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The board came {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Badziakouski faded the two overcards and flush draw to send Ferguson to the rail, reducing the field to the last 25 hopefuls.
