Kronwitter Doubles Through Pauli

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

It was a battle of the blinds between Jonas Kronwitter and Sebastian Pauli in which Kronwitter raised to 4,800 from the small blind, Pauli three-bet to 15,000, Kronwitter continued with a four-bet to 43,200 and Pauli called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Kronwitter shoved for 42,000 that he had behind him. Pauli tanked a bit but eventually called to threaten Kronwitter's tournament life.

Sebastian Pauli: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Jonas Kronwitter: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river didn't help Pauli who lost a big part of his stack while Kronwitter found an important double up.

Jachtmann Leaves Thorel Short

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann was in a big pot against Thorel with the board showing {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Jachtmann shoved and Thorel called but threw face down his cards, as soon as he saw Jachtmann's hand. The dealer opened Thorel's cards for the hand to continue, and he had {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} while Jachtmann had {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} with a full house.

The {9-Diamonds} on the river couldn't change anything and Jachtmann doubled up while Thorel was left short.
