Kronwitter Doubles Through Pauli

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

It was a battle of the blinds between Jonas Kronwitter and Sebastian Pauli in which Kronwitter raised to 4,800 from the small blind, Pauli three-bet to 15,000, Kronwitter continued with a four-bet to 43,200 and Pauli called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Kronwitter shoved for 42,000 that he had behind him. Pauli tanked a bit but eventually called to threaten Kronwitter's tournament life.

Sebastian Pauli: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Jonas Kronwitter: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river didn't help Pauli who lost a big part of his stack while Kronwitter found an important double up.

Morgenstern Wins Another Big Pot; Goes Over 300k Again

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Anton Morgenstern doubled up in a pot where it was three-way and Jack Sinclair hit the rail. The board was {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Bartolomiej Staszczak had bet 40,000 with Morgenstern announcing all in. Staszczak thought about it for a bit and then decided to call, only to see Morgenstern open {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} for a full house.

After a bit Staszczak revealed his hand, opening {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a lesser full house. Sinclair who was short and all in earlier in the hand, mucked his cards and left.
