Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Didier Rabl
Didier Rabl

Anton Morgenstern was found all in with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} in a hand where the flop was {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. His opponent was Didier Rabl who was holding {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} with the nut flush draw.

The {4-Spades} on the turn and the {6-Hearts} on the river kept Morgenstern ahead who is now well over a million in chips.

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

In a three-way pot, the flop read {10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} when Leonid Yanovski and Diego Montone checked in the blinds before Marc Palatzky bet 30,000 on the button. Only Montone called.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and Palatzky sent another bet worth 60,000 after Montone checked. Montone thought about his move for a minute and moved all-in for 259,000, putting Palatzky into a decision. After several minutes the latter ended up folding.

Ha Over One Million

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Thai Ha is another player who is over one million chips in Day 2, and he did it after winning a big pot against Tomas Ribeiro. The hand was on the turn with a {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} board and 105,000 chips in the pot.

Ribeiro started the hand from the big blind, while Ha was under the gun and he called a bet at 90,000 after the dealer opened the turn.

The {q-Diamonds} came on the river and Ribeiro checked this time, with Ha betting 265,000. Ribeiro called relatively quickly but he mucked when Ha opened {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a broadway straight.

Ribeiro Busts Duczak

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Aaron Duczak
Aaron Duczak

All the chips were already in the middle and the cards tabled between Aaron Duczak, at risk for his tournament, and Tomas Ribeiro on a flop {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs} with the following showdown:

Aaron Duczak: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Tomas Ribeiro: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Duczak had the middle pair and a straight draw but the board fell the {6-Hearts} and the {3-Clubs} to give Ribeiro the flush and eliminate Duczak for a €3,596 payday.

Ha Takes Sinclair's Stack in Two Hands

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Thai Ha
Thai Ha

Thai Ha is having a great day so far and right now he sits upon a 1.4 million-chip stack, after busting Jack Sinclair.

He needed two hands in order to achieve it, and in the first both players checked a {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. The {7-Spades} came on the turn and Ha bet 35,000 with Sinclair calling. The {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Ha bet 75,000 this time with Sinclair folding his hand after some tanking.

A couple hands later, they were both in the blinds and Ha raised from the small blind to 30,000 and called when Sinclair made it 90,000.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Ha led for 175,000, which were more than enough to cover Sinclair's stack. After some tanking Sinclair called and they went to showdown.

Thai Ha: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Jack Sinclair: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river sent Sinclair to the rail, while built a chipleading stack.
