The cards are ready to get back in the air for the first 12 p.m. flight in Event #15: €550 Colossus No-Limit Hold'em. There have been three starting flights completed already with just over 400 total entries recorded. Today marks the first day that there will be two flights running on the same day, the latter beginning at 6 p.m.

While the majority of players will have the goal of grabbing a share of the €1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool, much of the poker world has their interest in the WSOP Player of the Year race. This is the final tournament with points up for grabs and all of the contenders will be looking to run up a stack for Day 2. Thus far, only Shaun Deeb has bagged a stack of 210,000 chips. Daniel Negreanu, Robert Campbell, along with Anthony Zinno and Dario Sammartino who are still in the Main Event, are expected to fire some bullets throughout the opening flights.

Each player will begin with a starting stack of 25,000 chips with the blinds beginning at 100/100 and a 100 big blind ante. The levels will be 30 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every four levels. A total of 18 levels will be played in each of the starting flights as players make their way into the money. A player may cash in multiple flights but may only bring one stack into Day 2.

Late registration will remain open for the first 12 levels with a single re-entry option per flight available. Follow along with the PokerNews live reporting team for all of the updates throughout the entire event, and to find out how the Player of the Year race unfolds.

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Ondrej Drozd raised it up from under the gun at a four-handed table and got called by the other three players. The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and the blinds checked to Drozd who continued for 600. Only Prosper Mamane called out of the big blind.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Mamane check-called another bet of 1,200 from Drozd. The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Mamane checked once more. Drozd fired out another bet of 2,400 and Mamane looked him up. Drozd flipped over {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for two pair and Mamane mucked his cards.
