Two More Eliminations

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 0 ante

The action is rapid after the players reached the paid spots, and in the last hands there were two more eliminations. Arunas Garunkstis lost two pots in a row against Dragos Trofimov and he left the field with 13 players.

At first Trofimov doubled over his opponent to cripple him and in the very next hand Garunkstis put his last three big blinds in the middle with {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} only to get called by Trofimov's {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Garunkstis hit the rail.

A couple of minutes earlier it was Robert Campbell who busted, while securing points for the 2019 WSOP POY race and the prize money of 14th place. Campbell received €908 and Garunkstis €1,074.
