A raise by Richard Yong resulted in a three-bet by Danny Tang and Koray Aldemir in the big blind four-bet to 850,000. Yong got out of the way while Tang called to create an already big pot to the flop. Aldemir bet 390,000 and Tang came along to see the on the turn, which was checked through by both players.
After the river, Aldemir checked once more and Tang now bet 550,000. A reluctant call by Aldemir followed and Tang turned over for a set of jacks as the winning hand.
That pot propelled Tang up to more than two times the starting stack, cementing his status as the early chip leader of the event.
