Early Pots for Foxen and Eibinger

Level 10 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised it up to 265,000 from the cutoff and Phil Ivey defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Ivey check-called a bet of 230,000 from Foxen. They both checked through the {4-Clubs} on the turn and the {k-Spades} on the river. Foxen showed {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and was awarded the pot.

In the next hand, Rainer Kempe made it 250,000 to go in middle position and Matthias Eibinger called from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Eibinger checked to Kempe who continued for 215,000. Eibinger called and the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Eibinger checked again and Kempe checked it back. The {6-Hearts} paired the board on the river and Eibinger tossed in a bet of 600,000. Kempe thought for a few seconds before relinquishing his cards.
