The Big Stacks Go To War

Level 20 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Armando D'Avanzo raised and earned a call from Vasil Medarov in the small blind. Ermanno Di Nicola potted and D'Avanzo then repotted for Medarov to fold and Di Nicola to get his stack in for a massive pot.

Ermanno Di Nicola: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Armando D'Avanzo: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} board gave both players a full house. Di Nicola thought it was a guaranteed chop by the turn but either player could have paired their low card to win the pot. Instead, it was indeed a chop between the two Italians.
