Espholm Doubles Through Ribeiro

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

With 10,800 in the middle and the turn showing {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Tomas Ribeiro checked. Johan Espholm bet 10,000 and Ribeiro then check-raised the pot to 31,800 for Espholm to call. On the {4-Diamonds} river, Ribeiro took a while before moving all-in and that sent Espholm into the tank.

He eventually called all-in for 44,500 and Ribeiro flashed the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a busted double draw, which Espholm had beat with the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the bottom end of the straight.

With some 14,000 in the middle to the {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} turn, Eelis Pärssinen bet 13,000 out of the small blind and was called by Amit Yacov in the big blind and Jules Ayoub in the hijack. The {q-Clubs} river paired the board and Pärssinen now bet 50,000.

Yacov tank-folded and so did Ayoub.

"Show the bluff!" Shawn Stroke demanded. Pärssinen double-checked his cards and revealed the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

Level 1 : 200/400, 400 ante

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 1,400 for the second hand in a row and this time, he was called by Tomer Lahav in the small blind and Dario Alioto in the big blind. The {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Alioto and he bet 2,500, earning two calls. The {9-Diamonds} turn and {k-Spades} river were checked and Lahav tabled the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair and a missed straight draw.

Alioto had that beat with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush and Bujtas mucked.
