Flesner Doubles; Eiselt Busts

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Emanuel Flesner tangled with Ion Tabacaru when the former was all-in for 920,000 with the A♥Q♦. Tabacaru flipped for almost his entire stack and revealed the 10♣10♦.

The A♠6♥3♣J♥4♣ board delivered the overcard for Flesner and Tabacaru dropped to fewer than one full blind.

There was another all-in and call on the same table shortly after, but it wasn't Tabacaru that got involved.

Instead, David Eiselt shipped it in with the J♦10♣ and ran right into the A♠A♥ of Wladimir Gerner. The K♣9♠8♥ flop gave Eiselt an open-ended straight draw, which he missed on the 4♣ turn and 6♠ river.

Leykauf and Ewers Battle With Rags

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Frank Leykauf raised and Christian Ewers called. Leykauf bet the 10♣6♥2♦ flop for 135,000 and the 2♣ turn or 230,000, both of which Ewers called.

Leykauf then bet big on the K♥ river and Ewers folded, getting shown the 5♠3♥ for a bluff.

"I also play crap like that," Ewers joked back and mentioned he had folded five-four.

"The five hit, right?" Ewers inquired and Leykauf shook his head.

Hristofor Kolev announced all in for his last 270,000 on the button before Stephan Glausch shoved his larger stack into the middle from the small blind. The big blind folded, leaving Kolev at risk heads up.

Gerner Gaining Steam

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action was heads up to the flop of 8♣A♠5♣, with Tawfik Samih checking in the big blind. Wladimir Gerner fired a bet of 120,000, only to see Samih raise to 450,000.

Gerner made the call and both players checked the J♣ turn. Samih checked the K♠ river before Gerner bet 580,000.

Samih took some time before making the fold, as Gerner raked in the chips.

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Safwane Anwar Bahri

Three players bowed out in quick succession and among them was also Stefan Petri, who was eliminated by Safwane Bahri.

Petri open-shoved for 315,000 and Bahri reshoved for his last 660,000 to isolate.

Stefan Petri: A♥10♦
Safwane Bahri: A♠K♥

"Ten on the flop," a German friend on the rail predicted and that came true on Q♣10♥4♠. However, the K♦ turn restored the preflop order and the 2♥ river brought no further surprise.

Down to the Last Five Tables

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Damien Duquellenec was also among the trio of players to bow out and that reduced the field to the last 41 contenders across six tables. Soon after, Yurii Divnich and Christian Ewers were flipping with Divnich as the effective stack for 895,000.

Yurii Divnich: A♦K♥
Christian Ewers: 8♦8♥

The A♣10♠5♣ flop vaulted Divnich into the lead but the 8♣ turn gave Ewers a set, which then improved to a full house with the 10♦ river.

Leykauf Gets Lucky to KO Kondraszuk

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Schayan Schakeri opened from under the gun to 130,000 and the action folded around to Frank Leykauf on the button. Leykauf three-bet to 260,000 before Maciej Kondraszuk moved all in for 690,000 in the big blind.

Schakeri took some time before making the fold, while Leykauf called and the hands were revealed.

Maciej Kondraszuk: A♥K♦
Frank Leykauf: A♣Q♣

The flop of 7♠J♣9♦ was clean for Kondraszuk, but the Q♥ turn left Leykauf in front. The 6♦ river completed the board, as Kondraszuk wished the table good luck on his way to the payout desk.

Positano Loses Flip

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Giuseppe Positano moved all in and was called by Stefan Drusca to his immediate left. The rest of the table folded, leaving Positano at risk.

Giuseppe Positano: A♦Q♦
Stefan Drusca: 10♣10♥

The classic flip turned sharply in Drusca's favor after hitting a set on the 6♣3♣10♦ set. The K♥ turn brought Positano a straight draw, but the 2♣ river was a brick to end his deep run.

Kang and Kolev Survive for Now

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

William Kang was very excited as he demanded loudly for various outcomes against three opponents, who ended up checking down the Q♣5♣5♥2♦A♠ board.

Alfredo Vega Meister was among them as his 6♣4♣ missed a gutshot and flush draw. Kang's A♦Q♦ brought a quadrupled up albeit for a very short stack.

Hristofor Kolev was the next to get his 260,000 in from the button with the A♥Q♣. Caren Pidjoian called with 6♣6♥ but Kolev got there on the Q♦5♣4♣10♣2♣ board.
