Awad Runs into Aces

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Tomas Kolarik opened to 30,000 from middle position and called when Mousa Awad raised to 95,000 on the button.

Kolarik checked the K67 flop before Awad continued for 55,000. The call was made to see the 3 turn, where both players checked to the 10 river.

Kolarik moved all in and Awad called, turning over AK for top pair. Kolarik revealed AA to take the pot, knocking Awad out of the tournament.

Duquellenec Extracts Value From Bahri

Picking up the action on the 7654 turn, Safwane Bahri bet 30,000 and Damien Duquellenec called. That brought them to the J river on which Bahri checked. Duquellenec bet 85,000 to receive a reluctant call and his QJ for a pair of jacks won the pot.

The hero only a few minutes ago, Ilija Savevski was already all-in with the flop showing Q32 and William Kang bet when checked to by Maciej Kondraszuk. The latter folded and Kang said "I have something, I don't bet with air".

The board ran out 94 and that sent the WSOP Europe bracelet winner to the rail.

Krueger Eliminated by Savevski

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Following a limp, Tobias Krueger jammed for 60,000 and Ilija Savevski moved all-in over the top to isolate.

Krueger's KQ chopped with the KQ of Savevski on a 54286 runout.

Krueger open-shoved soon after with the AK and flipped against Savevski, who revealed the 1010.

The board ran out Q10644 to give Savevski a full house.

Bhatia Doubles in Big Blind

Alexandru Farcasanu opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and Sanjit Bhatia defending his big blind to see the 357 flop.

Bhatia committed the rest of his short stack and was quickly called by Farcasanu.

Bhatia was on a straight draw but took the lead when the dealer turned over the 9 turn. The 10 river changed nothing, as Bhatia scored the double up.

Vega Meister Scoops Seven-Figure Pot

Picking up the action on the 654 flop, Alfredo Vega Meister checked and Emilio Izvira bet 60,000. What followed was the check-shove by Vega Meister for around 550,000 and that sent Izvira into the tank. He eventually called for the 415,000 he had behind his bet and the cards were flipped over.

Izvira was happy to have a flip but the K turn instantly sealed his fate to make the 7 river a formality.

Pazma Keeps Firing

Lukas Pazma and Andre Taskonidis were heads up to the flop showing K75. Taskonidis checked in the big blind and called when Pazma fired 25,000.

The 7 turn saw another check from Taskonidis, this time folding when Pazma slid out another bet of 125,000.
