Beckmann Doubles Against Krieger
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Simon Beckmann shoved from the cutoff for 16,500 and was called by Philipp Krieger in the small blind.
Simon Beckmann: 5♥5♣
Philipp Krieger: 10♣10♦
Beckmann was in trouble but his eyes lit up on the flop of 7♦6♠4♥ to give eight additional straight outs. The 7♣ bricked the turn, but the 3♦ gave Beckmann the seven-high straight to get a double up and leave Krieger short.
