Mario Llapi opened to 4,000 from middle position and received calls from Stefan Schoss in the hijack, Jonathan Pastore in the small blind and Johannes Steibel in the big blind.
The flop came Q♠8♣3♦ and action checked around to Llapi who bet 5,000. Schoss got out of the way before Pastore moved all in for roughly 30,000. Steibel folded and Llapi made the call with a covering stack to put Pastore at risk.

Pastore had flopped top pair but needed running cards to pull ahead of Llapi's flopped set. The Q♣ gave Pastore trips but the 2♥ river was a blank. Llapi's threes full of queens were good at showdown and he collected a sizable pot while Pastore was sent to the rail.
