Mateos Makes a Six-Figure Bet

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tamas Adamszki raised to 5,000 from under the gun and got calls from Quan Zhou on the button, Adrian Mateos in the small blind, and Ben Heath in the big blind.

The action then checked to Adamszki on the 2A9 flop and he made a bet of 8,000. Mateos was the only caller and the pair saw a turn of 7 appear, on which Mateos check-called a 28,000 bet from Adamszki.

The K river rolled off and Mateos checked once more, leading Adamszki to make a sizable bet of 60,000 chips. However, Mateos did not deem that enough and raised to 230,000.

Adamszki spent one time bank extension but eventually let his hand go, chipping up Mateos significantly.

Gab Yong Kim, one of two new entrants, then made it 4,000 to go first to act. Tamas Adamszki three-bet to 20,000 on the button and Kim called. They checked the 875 flop and Kim's bet of 25,000 on the 4 turn forced out Adamszki.

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nacho Barbero raised to 6,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress reraised to 26,000 from the small blind. Barbero then put a four-bet to roughly 60,000 chips and Dvoress made the call.

The flop of 81010 was checked by Dvoress before Barbero made a bet of 41,000. Dvoress came up with a raise to 112,000, and that spelled the end of the hand as Barbero tossed his cards into the muck.

Chidwick Puts Barbero to the Test

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Nacho Barbero opened the action with a raise to 7,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick was the only caller, from the small blind. The flop fell A98 and Barbero made a continuation-bet of 8,000 once Chidwick had checked. Chidwick then called, and did so too for Barbero's 24,000 bet on the 3 turn.

The 10 river saw Chidwick check for a third time, after which Barbero made a pot-sized bet of 81,000. Chidwick took some time before putting all of his large-denomination chips in the middle, effectively putting Barbero all in. However, Barbero folded rather quickly, leaving around 250 big blinds for the Argentinian to play with.
