Ghizaoui Leaves Davenport on Fumes
Level 34
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Matthew Davenport opened to 1,200,000 from the cutoff and Jamel Ghizaoui called from the small blind.
The flop came A♣9♣7♥ and Ghizaoui check-called a 1,100,000 continuation bet from Davenport.
Ghizaoui check-called another bet from Davenport on the 10♥ turn, this time for 4,200,000.
On the A♠ river Ghizaoui bet 10,500,000, leaving only 675,000 behind. Davenport went deep into the tank.
After several minutes Davenport put in the call. Ghizaoui tabled J♥8♥ for a rivered straight and Davenport mucked his hand, leaving himself with less than a single big blind.
