Di Nicola Hits Top Pair on the River
Level 32
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
On a board of 8♣9♦5♦J♠, Cristian David bet 225,000 from the hijack. But in front of him, Ermanno Di Nicola decided to raise to 950,000 from the big blind.
David went into the tank, but eventually called to find the Q♥ on the river.
Di Nicola checked, and David quickly checked back. But when Di Nicola revealed Q♠4♥ for top pair, David looked like he couldn't believe it. He showed K♠J♣, and saw the pot going in Di Nicola's direction.
