Eljach Triumphs in Multiway Clash
Level 2
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Omar Eljach had raised a previous open to 6,000 from middle position, only for Grzegorz Derkowski to four-bet it to 25,300 from the hijack. Arturo Paduano then five-bet to 83,000 from the button and received calls from both Eljach and Derkowski.
The flop came 8♦7♦3♦. Eljach moved all in for 19,400 and Derkowski reshoved for 25,900. Paduano called with a covering stack to put both players at risk.
Omar Eljach: K♦8♠6♠4♦
Grzegorz Derkowski: Q♥Q♦J♥9♦
Arturo Paduano: A♠A♣K♣9♠
The rest of the board ran out 5♠A♦. Eljach's nut-flush was best and he scooped a titanic pot worth nearly 800 big blinds while Derkowski took the side pot with a smaller flush.
