Level 33 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Everyone folded around to Alberto Speranzoni in the small blind, who seized the moment and went all in. Dmitrij Fadeev, sitting in the big blind, requested a count, and the dealer confirmed 2,730,000. After a brief contemplation, Fadeev decided to call, setting up a showdown.

Alberto Speranzoni: 88All in
Dmitrij Fadeev: 66

Jozsef Dobos raised to 400,000 in early position. Rostyslav Sabishchenko then jammed all in for 2,805,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Rene Maaz in the big blind.

He thought it over for a bit before calling all-in for 2,340,000. Dobos quickly mucked his cards, forcing a showdown between the other two players.

Rene Maaz: AK All in
Rostyslav Sabishchenko: 99

It was a classic flip, and one that would end Maaz's tournament run in 14th place when the 33J43 runout gave Sabischenko a full house for the winning hand.

Vitezslav Cech
Vitezslav Cech

Vitezslav Cech had been on the short stack for some time, despite managing to double up earlier. He found himself once again in need of a lifeline and decided to go all in from the middle position with 1,180,000. Dmitrij Fadeev, after some thought, made the call, putting Cech at risk of elimination.

Vitezslav Cech: A6All in
Dmitrij Fadeev: 77

Cech was looking for an ace to stay in the game, but the 10K10 flop gave him additional outs with a possible straight. The turn 6 improved his hand slightly, but the river 7 sealed his fate, giving Fadeev a full house. Cech was sent to the rail, falling short in his quest for another double-up.

Daniel Trunk raised under the gun with 76. The action folded around to Rostyslav Sabishchenko, who defended his big blind with 109. Both players paired on the 793 flop, which they checked through.

The 6 turn gave Trunk two pair, but saw Sabishchenko lead out for 300,000 with his pair of nines. Trunk raised to 1,250,000. Sabishchenko called and saw the 8 river complete his straight.

Speranzoni Takes and Gives

Level 34 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Alberto Speranzoni had been dominating the table for several hands, picking up blinds along the way, before he raised to 500,000 from the early position holding 109. Ferdinando Costagliola, sitting in the small blind, responded by shoving all-in with A3. After some deliberation, Speranzoni made the call.

The 568 flop gave Speranzoni plenty of outs, as he needed to improve his hand. However, the 3 turn and Q river didn’t change things in his favor, and Costagliola secured a crucial double-up.
