The turn 6♥ improved his hand slightly, but the river 7♠ sealed his fate, giving Fadeev a full house. Cech was sent to the rail, falling short in his quest for another double-up.

The K♠ turn was knuckled by both players as well before Fadeev fired 1,000,000 on the 9♠ river. Gavrila quickly check-folded, granting the pot to the table chipleader.

Daniel Trunk raised under the gun with 7♦6♦. The action folded around to Rostyslav Sabishchenko, who defended his big blind with 10♥9♦. Both players paired on the 7♠9♣3♥ flop, which they checked through.

The 6♣ turn gave Trunk two pair, but saw Sabishchenko lead out for 300,000 with his pair of nines. Trunk raised to 1,250,000. Sabishchenko called and saw the 8♦ river complete his straight.

Once again, he decided to take the initiative as he made a bet of 1,000,000. Trunk was sent into the tank, taking a minute or so before correctly mucking his cards and surrendering the pot.

The 5♠6♣8♣ flop gave Speranzoni plenty of outs, as he needed to improve his hand. However, the 3♣ turn and Q♥ river didn’t change things in his favor, and Costagliola secured a crucial double-up.
