Sabishchenko Fires Into Aces

Rostyslav Sabishchenko raised his button to 500,000 with J♥10♥ and was three-bet to 1,700,000 by Daniel Trunk in the small blind, who held A♠A♦.

Sabishchenko called to the 8♦2♣5♣ flop, where he saw Trunk slow down with a check. He fired 800,000 in response, being called by Trunk.

The 8♠ turn paired the board. Trunk checked again, this time facing a bet of 1,300,000 from Sabishchenko. Trunk thought for a while before announcing his all-in for 3,695,000.

Sabishchenko instantly mucked his jack-high, seeing Trunk win the pot with his rockets.

Daniel Trunk raised to 500,000 in the cutoff with K♥K♦. It folded to Jozsef Dobos in the big blind, who defended his 7♥7♣. Both players flopped an overpair on 3♣5♣2♠. Dobos checked, Trunk fired 400,000, and Dobos called.

Dpbos checked again on the J♥ turn, this time being met with a bet of 1,350,000 from his opponent. After some thinking time, he said goodbye to his sevens as another pot was shipped Trunk's way.

Georg Strebel raised to 550,000 on the button. Ferdinando Costagliola then shoved all in for roughly 4,000,000 in the small blind, being snap called by Strebel, who covered him.

It was looking like Costagliola would double up when the 9♦Q♣Q♥ flop gave him a full house. The Q♦ turn saw some opportunities for Strebel, however, and he made the better full house when the A♣ river completed the board.

Costagliola had no choice but to depart the tournament in 11th place while Strebel chipped up to an eight-figure stack.

Kschammer Doubles in Limped Pot

Antonio Menga limped in from the small blind and Daniel Kschammer checked his option in the big blind.

The 7♠9♥9♦ flop went check-check before the A♥ turn saw Menga check-call the 450,000 bet of Kschammer.

The 7♥ river completed the board. Menga checked, after which Kschammer jammed all in for 2,175,000, a slight over-bet.

Menga asked for a count, thought it over for a bit, and then made the call. Kschammer tabled 9♣4♦ for a rivered full house, beating the 10♥6♥ of Menga, who had called off with a flush.

Kschammer looked poised to get a huge double-up, although the J♦A♦5♦ flop did bring Trunk a flush draw.

The A♣ turn did nothing for either player, but the 9♦ river saw Trunk make his flush to eliminate Kschammer in brutal fashion.

Kschammer took his leave in 10th place, becoming the final table bubble.
