Trunk Shoves on Szymanski

Level 35 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Przemyslaw Szymanski raised his button to 650,000 with 88. Chipleader Daniel Trunk sat in the small blind and moved all in with 77.

A visibly distraught Szymanski weighed his options for just a bit before folding the dominating hand, sending more chips Trunk's way.

Trunk Takes More from Szymanski

Level 35 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Przemyslaw Szymanski raised to 650,000 in the cutoff with JJ, being called by Daniel Trunk on the button, who had A10. Szymanski continued for 750,000 on the A510 flop, just being called by Trunk's two pair.

The 9 turn gave Szymanski a flush draw, prompting him to bet an additional 1,150,000. Trunk eyed Szymanski's remaining chips and then put his opponent all-in for 4,050,000 total.

Again, Szymanski quickly let go of his cards as he surrendered another pot to the chipleader.

Double-Up for Szymanski

Level 35 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Antonio Menga went all-in from middle position with 88, putting in a hefty 3,300,000. Przemyslaw Szymanski, holding KK and just 400,000 behind, made the call.

The flop was a nightmare for Menga, bringing A5K and giving Szymanski a set right off the bat, leaving Menga with little hope.

The turn revealed the A, improving Szymanski’s hand to a full house. With no outs remaining for Menga, Szymanski secured the double up.

Gavrila Bluffs Dobos

Level 35 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jozsef Dobos raised his KQ to 600,000 in the hijack and was called by Viorel Gavrila in the big blind, who defended 109. The 3A10 flop saw Dobos continue for 450,000, which Gavrila check-called.

The K turn slowed down the action as both players checked. The Q river put four to a straight on the board, prompting Gavrila to make a bet of 1,850,000.

Dobos mulled it over before deciding to muck his two pair and forfeit the pot to Gavrila, who successfully pulled off the bluff.

Fadeev's Lucky River

Level 35 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Przemyslaw Szymanski opened the action with AJ under the gun, raising to 600,000. Dmitrij Fadeev, holding AK in the cutoff, decided to call. Then Viorel Gavrila, sitting in the small blind with pocket jacks JJ, went all in, putting the pressure back on Szymanski. He chose to fold, but Fadeev quickly snapped and called the all-in.

The flop came down 732, leaving Fadeev in a precarious position as it didn’t improve his hand.

The turn brought the 8, which wasn’t the help he was looking for.

However, the A on the river gave him the crucial better pair he needed, allowing Fadeev to double up and stay in the game.

Antonio Menga was automatically all-in in the big blind. Georg Strebel then limped in from middle position before Alberto Speranzoni shoved for 2,800,000 in the cutoff.

Viorel Gavrila rejammed on the button with the covering stack, forcing out Strebel and creating a three-way all-in.

Antonio Menga: AJ All in
Alberto Speranzoni: 77 All in
Viorel Gavrila: AQ

The 695 flop saw Speranzoni remain ahead, but the J turn made Menga top pair to take a big lead.

The 9 river paired the board, quadrupling up Menga and seeing the big side pot being shipped to Speranzoni.
