Gavrila Bluffs Dobos

Level 35 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jozsef Dobos raised his K♦Q♣ to 600,000 in the hijack and was called by Viorel Gavrila in the big blind, who defended 10♣9♠. The 3♣A♣10♠ flop saw Dobos continue for 450,000, which Gavrila check-called.

The K♣ turn slowed down the action as both players checked. The Q♠ river put four to a straight on the board, prompting Gavrila to make a bet of 1,850,000.

Dobos mulled it over before deciding to muck his two pair and forfeit the pot to Gavrila, who successfully pulled off the bluff.
