Martin Schamaun raised his button to 20,000. Fabian Scherle was short and defended his big blind. He then checked to Schamaun on the A♣6♥2♥ flop, who put Scherle all-in for 35,000.
"Okay, let's do it," Scherle stated as he eventually put in his final chips.
Fabian Scherle: J♠10♥10♣9♥
Martin Schamaun: A♦K♦6♠4♦
Schamaun had flopped two pair and needed to fade Scherle's flush draw to eliminate him. He did just so on the 8♣J♣ runout, sending Scherle home.
The field ended up with 15 players left, and with 14 of them getting paid, hand-for-hand play was declared until the bubble would burst.
