Nevalainen Hero Calls Against Pot
Level 6
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Janne Nevalainen made it 2,000 to go in the hijack and was called by Anton Suarez in the small blind. The pair then checked through the 7♣K♥Q♣ flop as well as the J♥ turn.
Suarez placed a pot-sized bet of 6,000 on the J♦ river. Nevalainen momentarily paused before he flicked in a call.
Suarez showed K♣10♦ for top pair while Nevalainen had played the hero with A♥8♣ for just ace-high.
