Sileikis Doubles Through Camosci

Enrico Camosci raised from the small blind then Kazimieras Sileikis made it 5,000 from the big blind. Camosci then four-bet to 15,000, and Sileikis five-bet to 35,000. Camosci called.

The flop came 24J where Camosci check-called a bet of 7,000 from Sileikis to the 8 turn, where again Camosci check-called after Sileikis fired 10,000.

When the 5 dropped on the river, Camosci checked for a third time and Sileikis shoved for 35,000. Camosci pondered for a few minutes then decided on a call.

Sileikis flipped the nuts with AK, and Camosci was forced to show his AJ for a pair of jaks.

On a flop of Q93 Niklas Astedt checked from early position and faced a bet of 5,000 by Christophe Panetti a few seats to his left. Astedt min-raised to 10,000 with just 4,000 behind to which Penetti shoved, putting Astedt all-in. Astedt called.

Astedt needed to find a jack to survive, but the 7 turn or A river didn't improve him and he was headed for the rebuy desk.

Zhao Hero Calls For His Tournament Life

On a board of 68Q4 Francesco Rinaldi bet 15,500 from the big blind and Cheng Zhao called from the hijack.

Rinaldi put Zhao all-in for 38,000 upon seeing the K river, and Zhao went deep into the tank. After thinking it over for a few moments, Zhao pushed his chips into the middle to call.

Rinaldi turned over AJ for a bluff, as Zhao tabled third pair with 87 to earn him the double up.

Eisele Busts Baranek in Cooler

Gerald Eisele opened from the hijack to 1,200. Sirzat Hissou called on the button and Rene Baranek defended the big blind.

The flop of 66Q saw a check from Baranek and a bet of 2,000 from Eisele. Hissou and Baranek called. The A saw checks from Baranek and Eisele, prompting Hissou to bet 5,500. Baranek called before Eisele put in the check-raise to 27,000.

Hissou went into the tank before folding. Baranek moved all in and Eisele called.

Ebolheb Wins Battle of Big Slicks

Klas Krueger raised to 1,500 in middle position with AK and was called by Tom-Aksel Bedell on the button, who had J9. Fariss Ebolheb, finding AK, three-bet to 4,900 in the small blind before Brandon Sheils put in a fourth bet worth 12,600 with AK.

Krueger got rid of his cards and Bedell folded as well. Ebolheb called to the 1057 flop, where Sheils continued for 6,300. Ebolheb check-called and the 4 turn was put on the table.

After some consideration, Ebolheb checked again, seeing Sheils check back. The 10 river completed the board, where Ebolheb pushed in a bet of 17,000.

Sheils weighed his options carefully but ultimately decided to fold what would have been a chopped pot. Ebolheb raked in the big pot as the only one out of the three players with ace-king to see a return on their investment.

Oikonomou Sends Astedt Into Minutes-Long Tank

Elmir Ndoj raised to 1,200 under the gun. Niklas Astedt three-bet to 3,500 in middle position and was called by Panagiotis Oikonomou on the button and Arturo Paduano in the big blind.

Ndoj also tossed in the extra chips, after which a flop of Q2J was dealt. It checked to Astedt, who bet 2,500. Oikonomou was the only caller as Ndoj mucked 77 and Paduano folded 1010.

The 5 turn went check-check and Astedt checked again on the 9 river. Oikonomou fired a big bet of 12,600 and Astedt mulled it over for a long time before finally deciding to call.

Oikonomou turned over 99 for a rivered set, beating Astedt's hero call with KJ for second pair.

Emil Bise opened from under the gun to 1,200. Vladimir Troyanovskiy called on the button and Seyed Dezfooli defended the big blind.

The 284 flop was checked around before Dezfooli led for 2,100 on the 3 turn. Bise called and Troyanovskiy folded. The 9 saw Dezfooli slow down and check. Bise bet 14,000 and Dezfooli went into the tank.

Ultimately he flicked in the call and was shown A5 for the wheel by Bise.

Rama Mulaj raised to 1,200 in middle position. Brandon Sheils tossed in a three-bet to 3,800 from the hijack, which Mulaj quickly called.

Sheils continued for 3,000 on the 4103 flop. Mulaj check-raised to 11,000, and Sheils tossed in a call.

The 8 turn saw Mulaj quickly move in for his remaining 40,000. Sheils sighed but put in a quick call with the covering stack.

Sheils figured he would be behind but he was miles ahead of Mulaj's ace-king high. The Q river did not improve Mulaj's hand, sending him to the rail early on Day 1.

Paulius Mikaliunas opened from under the gun to 1,200. Negjdet Avdylaj reraised to 2,500. Action folded around to Mikaliunas who called.

Mikaliunas check-called a bet of 2,400 on the flop of AJA. The K turn was checked around before Mikaliunas led for 5,100. He was snap-called.

Mikaliunas showed JJ for jacks full of aces but was bested by Avdulaj's AJ for aces full of jacks.

Erik Van Hulst said "welcome to the Main Event" to Mikaliunas as Avdulaj scooped the pot.
