Ilani and Berggren Battle in Blinds

Robin Berggren limped in from the small blind with 5♣4♥ and Ran Ilani checked his option in the big blind with K♥3♠.

Berggren tossed in a bet of 125,000 on the 2♦6♣3♥ flop and was called by Ilani. He checked the 8♦ turn before Ilani bet 325,000. Berggren then raised to 1,100,000.

Ilani quickly folded his third pair, seeing Berggren take down the pot with the nuts.

Golinski had the best made hand on the 7♥2♦4♦ flop but Svach was the favorite with two overcards and the nut-flush draw. Svach could not hit one of his many outs when the rest of the board ran out J♠3♣ and he was sent to the rail while Golinski dragged in a monster pot.

Michael Dick raised to 225,000 from the hijack with Urmo Velvelt defending from the big blind.

After Velvelt checked the 4♠2♣2♠ flop, Dick bet 175,000 and Velvelt called.

Velvelt check-called a bet of 425,000 from Dick on the 10♣ turn.

Velvelt opted to lead out for 625,000 upon seeing the 6♦ hit the river. Dick raised to 2,150,000 and Velvet quickly called.

Dick sheepishly turned over K♣J♠ for a total bluff. Velvelt showed 10♥4♥ for two pair, tens and fours to take down the pot.

The two players fist-bumped before the dealer fanned out a flop of 10♥Q♠J♥ giving Wojciechowski a set, but Di Persio was ahead, having flopped Broadway. Di Persio just needed the board not to pair and he would double up. However, the 10♣ on the turn improved Wojciechowski to quad tens and meant the end of Di Persio's Main Event. The J♠ came on the river and the pot was pushed over to Wojciechowski.
