Shaar Scoops a Huge Pot Against Di Giacomo
Level 25
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Claudio Di Giacomo opened preflop and Elad Shaar called before Hristiyan Banov three-bet from the small blind to 245,000. Both Di Giocomo and Shaar called.
On the 2♣7♣Q♠ flop, Banov checked and Di Giacomo bet 580,000. Shaar called off his stack of 445,000, and Banov folded.
Elad Shaar: K♠Q♦J♦10♠
Claudio Di Giacomo: A♣J♥9♠9♣
Di Giacomo would hold a monstrous chip lead if he could win this hand but the runout didn't go in his favor as the the K♥ turn and 7♥ river gave Shaar a better two pair and heaps of chips.
