Frederic Marechal raised his button to 3,000,000, only to be three-bet to 9,500,000 by Christopher Campisano in the big blind. Marechal called to the 2♠5♥10♥ flop, where he called a continuation-bet of 5,000,000 as well.
The 4♠ turn was then checked through and so was the 9♦ river. Campisano tabled A♥K♣, but was narrowly outdone by Marechal, who had A♠2♣ for bottom pair.
Frederic Marechal and Christopher Campisano are back in their seats and the cards are in the air for the heads up.
The players have been sent on a 15-minute break while the table is being prepared for the upcoming battle for the bracelet.
Frederic Marechal put Dimitrios Anastasakis all-in for 5,400,000 from the small blind, and the latter snap called in the big blind.
Dimitrios Anastasakis: Q♦6♣
Frederic Marechal: A♠J♣
The 9♠4♥3♦ flop helped neither player, but the A♣ turn left Anstasakis drawing dead. Hugs and handshakes were passed around as the K♣ river fell and Anastasakis left the table to collect his six-figure payout.
Dimitrios Anastasakis moved all in for his last 2,700,000 from the small blind and Christopher Campisano called in the big blind.
Dimitrios Anastasakis: J♠4♠
Christopher Campisano: 9♣3♦
Anastasakis managed to double up as the runout of 10♠5♦2♠10♣Q♦ kept his jack-high in the lead. Start of a comeback?
Frederic Marechal open-shoved for 24,500,000 in the small blind and was called by Dimitrios Anastasakis in the big blind, who covered him by 2,700,000.
Frederic Marechal: A♥7♦
Dimitrios Anastasakis: K♥Q♦
Marechal celebrated as he flopped an ace on 6♥A♠8♣. Another cheer followed when the 5♦ turn locked up the pot for him and the meaningless J♦ river was dealt as Anastasakis started cutting out what he owed.
Christopher Campisano raised to 3,500,000 from the small blind and Frederic Marechal called from the big blind.
On the Q♥K♣8♦ flop, Campisano continued for 2,500,000, and Marechal made the call.
A 3♠ on the turn and 10♠ river were checked down and Campisano took it down with Q♣7♥ for a pair of queens, beating the 10♦7♦ of Marechal.
Level: 37
Blinds: 600,000/1,200,000
Ante: 1,200,000
The remaining three players are on 15-minute break.
Frederic Marechal raised to 2,000,000 on the button with Q♣10♠, Dimitrios Anastasakis called in the small blind with J♥10♥, and Christopher Campisano followed suit in the big blind with K♥6♥.
The action checked to Marechal on the 8♥5♠Q♦ flop. He bet 2,500,000 with top pair, being called by Anastasakis and seeing Campisano fold. Marechal sized up to 3,500,000 on the 3♥ turn.
Anastasakis called once again, having turned a flush draw, before the 7♣ hit the river. Anastasakis was left with jack-high, which he eventually check-folded once Marechal put in a final bet of 6,000,000.
