Bise Straightens Up, Havasy Left with Just Queens!
Level 18
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Valentin Havasy kicked off the action with a raise to 32,000 from the hijack, and Emil Bise, sitting in the big blind, made the call.
Even before the dealer revealed the flop of J♦9♦J♥, Bise quickly checked, leaving it to Havasy to take the lead. Havasy bet 30,000, and Bise called without hesitation.
Both players opted to check when the 5♠ hit the turn.
On the 10♣ river, Bise seized control, leading out with a bet of 77,000. Havasy made the call. Bise then revealed K♠Q♥ for a straight, while Havasy could only show QxQx, settling for two pair.
