Polotzek Prevails with Ace-King
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kai Polotzek pushed all-in from early position with a stack of 330,000, holding A♦K♦. Sitting directly beside him, Uwe Dietzinger responded by re-shoving with J♥J♠. With no one else willing to enter the fray, the action went straight to showdown.
As the dealer revealed the board, it came out 10♣K♠2♦10♠7♥. Polotzek’s hand found some improvement with the king on the flop, giving him the chance to double up.
