Georgios Tsouloftas raised to 800,000 with J♠2♠ and Pascal Pflock defended 10♥9♥ in the big blind. Pflock checked to Tsouloftas on the K♣Q♠7♥ flop before he called the latter's bet of 525,000.
The 7♦ turn saw Tsouloftas size up to 2,000,000, this time receiving a quick check-fold from Pflock.
Georgios Tsouloftas shoved from the small blind and Andrea Ricci called for his stack of 3,700,000 in the big blind.
Andrea Ricci: Q♦9♦
Georgios Tsouloftas: K♣5♣
Ricci had gone from joint chip leader just moments ago to now being at risk and behind.
The flop of 9♣8♦3♠ gave Ricci top pair but the K♥ saw him fall behind with just one card to come. No help arrived on the 3♣ river, which meant Ricci was eliminated in tenth.

Hong Pham open-jammed as first to act, putting her stack of 4,250,000 at risk. Vito Branciforte called in the big blind before the rest of the table mucked their cards.
Hong Pham: A♦Q♠
Vito Branciforte: A♠A♣
The 4♥8♠5♣ flop was of no help to Pham, but the Q♥ turn provided her a glimmer of hope. Ultimately, though, Branciforte's aces held as the 6♦ arrived on the river.
Pham was the first to depart from the final table, pocketing €24,750 for her ninth place.
Michal Schuh shoved from the button and Paul Runcan called from the big blind for around 3,300,000.
Paul Runcan: A♦Q♠
Michal Schuh: K♥10♥
Runcan was ahead but also the at-risk player, and fell behind on the 5♠10♠7♥ flop as Schuh paired his ten. A Q♦ on the turn came to Runcan's rescue, and he held on as the J♠ river was a brick.
Vito Branciforte saw K♦Q♣ in middle position and raised to 800,000. Pascal Pflock three-bet to 1,800,000 with K♠Q♥ in the cutoff before the action folded to Georgios Tsouloftas in the small blind.
He though momentarily and then folded K♥Q♦. Branciforte quickly followed suit, shipping the pot to Pflock.
Paul Runcan raised to 800,000 from the cutoff and Georgios Tsouloftas called on the button before Tomas Krivsky shoved for 2,100,000 from the big blind. Runcan then shoved for 7,000,000, and Tsouloftas folded.
Tomas Krivsky: A♠10♦
Paul Runcan: 3♠3♦
Krivsky needed to win a flip to stay alive and he did just that as the runout of A♣7♠6♦10♠5♥ gave him two pair, which brought him off the bottom spot in the counts.
