Buchta Frustrates Romero

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Simon Buchta made it 160,000 to go from early position and Enrico Romero three-bet the hijack to 325,000. Once it got back to Buchta, he made the call.

The flop came 847 where Buchta check-called a bet of 165,000 from Romero.

A 7 on the turn saw Buchta check-call again when Romero bet 325,000, and the 6 dropped on the river. Buchta checked, and Romero took a while before he checked back.

Buchta tabled A6 for a rivered pair of sixes, and Romero looked frustrated as he mucked.

Three Players, No Ace

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andrea Ricci raised to 160,000 in the hijack. William Trumm called on the button, as did Genc Shabani in the big blind.

The flop fell A2A. Shabani checked to Ricci, who placed a continuation-bet of 205,000. Both Trumm and Shabani called to the 2 turn, which was checked through.

The 3 river was checked by all three as well, after which Shabani tabled 54 for a straight.

His hand was the winner as both Ricci and Trumm tossed their cards into the muck, seeing the pot being shipped to Shabani.

Pham Dominates Schuh

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Michal Schuh jammed all in on the button, covering both blinds. Hong Pham made the call in the small blind for 650,000 and the cards were tabled.

Hong Pham: A7 All in
Michal Schuh: K7

The Q610 flop remained safe for Pham, but the 2 turn brought a sweat when Schuh made a flush draw.

Daniel Frey
Daniel Frey

Pascal Pflock raised to 200,000 from early position and Daniel Frey shoved for 910,000 from middle position. Edwin Volzhan then shoved for 1,435,000, and Pflock called to put both players at risk.

Daniel Frey: QQ All in
Edwin Volzhan: AK All in
