Three Players, No Ace

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andrea Ricci raised to 160,000 in the hijack. William Trumm called on the button, as did Genc Shabani in the big blind.

The flop fell A2A. Shabani checked to Ricci, who placed a continuation-bet of 205,000. Both Trumm and Shabani called to the 2 turn, which was checked through.

The 3 river was checked by all three as well, after which Shabani tabled 54 for a straight.

His hand was the winner as both Ricci and Trumm tossed their cards into the muck, seeing the pot being shipped to Shabani.

Buchta Frustrates Romero

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Simon Buchta made it 160,000 to go from early position and Enrico Romero three-bet the hijack to 325,000. Once it got back to Buchta, he made the call.

The flop came 847 where Buchta check-called a bet of 165,000 from Romero.

A 7 on the turn saw Buchta check-call again when Romero bet 325,000, and the 6 dropped on the river. Buchta checked, and Romero took a while before he checked back.

Buchta tabled A6 for a rivered pair of sixes, and Romero looked frustrated as he mucked.

Volzhan Finds Hero Call on the River

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action folded around to Valentin Schramm who called in the small blind. Edwin Volzhan checked his option.

Schramm led for 80,000 on the Q104 flop. Volzhan called. Schramm led again, this time sizing up to 205,000 on the A turn. Volzhan called once more after a moments thought.

Schramm fired again for 400,000. Volzhan went deep into the tank, with numerous players on neighbouring tables up on their feet waiting for the three table redraw.

Eventually he found the call. Schramm showed J9 for a missed straight draw and Volzhan showed K3 for bottom pair which was good enough to win the pot.

Lettieri Last to Depart Before Three-Table Redraw

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Pietro Lettieri made a bet of 275,000 on a board of J4QJ. Mousa Awad called to the 7 river, where Lettieri committed the rest of his 300,000 chips.

Awad snap called. Lettieri tried to muck but was forced to show his K10. Awad won the pot with J10 for trip jacks and sent Lettieri home in 25th place.

The final 24 players were then newly dispersed across three tables.
