Table #83 Play a Twelve-Minute Hand, Doesn't Get to a Flop

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
William Trumm
William Trumm

Emanuel Gohar was under the gun and tanked for so long that the clock was called on him, and with just two seconds remaining, he min-raised to 50,000. Michele Nizzardelli was in the next seat and after some confusion as to whether he moved all in, he just called. Markus Kowalski then shoved from the button for 340,000.

The action was then on William Trumm in the big blind, who was also taking such a long time that the clock was called. There were 100 players remaining and with one more elimination, there was a small pay jump, which explains the tanking.

"Can you give me a countdown?" Trumm asked the floor staff, who obliged. Eventually, Trumm folded.

It was then back on Gohar, who had the clock called on him for a second time in the hand.

"Do you have a strong hand?" Gohar asked Nizzardelli to his left.

Gohar then folded, which left just Nizzardelli in the hand. By this time, the hand had taken around eleven minutes and the action was still preflop. Eventually, Nizzardelli decided to lay his hand down.

Arduini Gets Value From Kribben

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Lorenzo Arduini
Lorenzo Arduini

Lorenzo Arduini opened to 65,000 from early position and Matthias Kribben defended from the big blind.

They saw a flop of 8K3 where Kribben check-called a bet of 50,000 from Arduini.

The 9 turn checked through to the 9 river where Kribben checked, and Arduini quietly announced a bet of 200,000, then put in a stack of 100,000, followed by another stack moments later. Kribben was arguing that it was a string bet, but the players backed up Arduini and said that he did announce the bet before he put the chips in. Kribben then thought for a moment and called.

Arduini showed K10 for top pair, and Kribben knuckled the table a few times before he mucked.

Nizzardelli Left With Crumbs

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michele Nizzardelli and Edwin Volzhan were heads up on a flop of J36. Nizzardelli checked from the small blind before Volzhan bet 90,000 into a pot of 210,000.

Nizzardelli then put his opponent all-in for 490,000 total, which Volzhan snap called.

Michele Nizzardelli: J8

Nizzardelli's top pair was ahead, but the 4 turn brought in Volzhan's flush to leave him drawing dead.

The Q river was rendered meaningless. Volzhan raked in a full double-up, leaving Nizzardelli with three big blinds.

Vrancsik Picks Off Muratoglu's Bluff

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

There were already around 125,000 chips in the pot on a board of A68K when Zoltan Vrancsik bet 65,000, and Armand Muratoglu called.

On the 10 river, Vrancsik bet 95,000 and Muratoglu made a huge raise to 520,000. Vrancsik had around 350,000 behind after his river bet, and after some thinking, he made the call.

Muratoglu tabled Q9 for a missed flush draw, and Vrancsik flipped the winner with K8 for two pair.

Pascal Pflock

A big pot of 600,000 was in the middle when Pascal Pflock checked from the big blind on 33KA. Jose Rivas then made a bet of 250,000 and Pflock called.

The 8 river was checked quickly by both. Pflock showed A3 for a full house. Rivas tossed his cards into the muck and saw Pflock reach a stack of more than 80 big blinds.
