State Busts as Kings Prevail

The hand began with Bleron Maliqi raising to 6,000, and Shaun Deeb coming along from the small blind. But Adrian State in the big blind wasn't messing around—he shoved all-in for over 50,000. Maliqi made the call, while Deeb let his cards go.

The flop looked good for State as it landed J♦10♠4♣, giving him a pair of jacks. But the turn brought the K♦, flipping the script in Maliqi’s favor with a pair of kings. The 6♥ on the river sealed the deal, and State was sent packing.

Nunzio Iandolo opened to 6,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around to Rafi Elharar who defended the big blind.

He check-called a bet of 5,000 on the flop of 5♦K♣8♣ before both players checked the J♦ turn. Elharar then led for 13,000 on the 2♥ river. Iandolo took a moment before flicking in the call.

Elharar showed 7♦6♦ for a bluff and Iandolo's 3♠3♥ was good enough to take the pot.

Action was picked up on the flop of 6♥J♦9♥ where Nolan Curatolo checked from the hijack. Elia Salerno checked back from the button.

Curatolo then elected to bet 8,500 on the K♦ turn, which presented a second flush draw. Salerno called. The 5♣ river was checked down. Curatolo showed A♥7♥ for a missed flush draw and it was Salerno's 10♥10♦ that took the pot.

Naim was behind, but the 8♦4♦10♠ flop gave him a glimmer of hope with a backdoor flush draw. Unfortunately for him, the turn 8♣ and river 9♣ didn’t bring the improvement he needed, and Margolin’s pair of nines sent Naim packing.

Snejberg Check Raises Turn and Jams River

Josef Snejberg opened from the hijack to 9,000. Cheng Zhao called from the cutoff and Amiel Gamliel defended the big blind.

Both Gamliel and Snejberg checked the 3♣2♣8♠ flop to Zhao, who then bet 11,000. Gamliel called before Snejberg put in the check-raise to 33,000. Zhao folded and Gamliel made the call.

The 6♦ turn was checked around and Gamliel checked again on the A♥ river. Snejberg then bet 65,000. Gamliel went into the tank before folding his hand.

Candido Cappiello opened from under the gun to 10,000. Narcis Nedelcu called from the cutton. The button and blinds folded.

Cappiello led for 8,000 on the 9♠4♦8♣ flop and Nedelcu called. Cappiello led again on the 2♣ turn for 12,000. Nedelcu then raised to 40,500. Cappiello made the call. He then slowed down and checked the 6♥ river.

Nedelcu put his remaining 87,000 chips into the middle. Cappiello tanked before calling. He was shown Q♣Q♥ by Nedelcu. Cappiello tabled 10♦9♦ before cutting out chips to pass to Nedelcu.

Daewoong Song was first to act after the blinds and decided to push all in with his last 34,000 chips. Gabi Livshitz, sitting in the hijack, made the call while the rest of the table folded, leaving it to a heads-up showdown.

The flop came 2♣5♥J♣, giving Song a flush draw and plenty of outs. With the 10♣ landing on the turn, Song completed his flush, locking in the double-up before the river even had a chance to make an impact.
