Enders' Queens Crush Klezys—No Love for Jacks

After Adrian State opened the action with a raise to 1,600, Kasparas Klezys responded with a three-bet to 5,500. However, Peteris Enders fired back with a four-bet to 15,000, which only Klezys decided to call.

The flop came down 8♥7♠3♥, and Enders, first to act, pushed all-in with his remaining stack of 33,700. Klezys, clearly uncomfortable with the decision, eventually made the call, revealing J♥J♣. Enders flipped over Q♥Q♣, and his queens held strong as the turn and river brought A♦2♣, allowing him to double up and leave Klezys disappointed.

Grassmann Takes a Hit but Roars Back to 12k

On a board of 5♠J♣7♠3♦, Bruno Mota shoved all-in with 9♠3♠, holding a pair and a flush draw. Patrick Grassmann snap-called with 7♣7♦, having flopped a set of sevens. But the river delivered the 8♠, completing Mota's flush and leaving Grassmann with just 4,000 chips—crumbs.

However, Grassmann managed to double up in the very next hand when he was in the big blind. He pushed all-in against an open raise from Safwane Bahri, who made the call.

The board ran out J♣7♦Q♠5♦A♦, giving Grassmann a straight and saving his tournament life.

Daniel Lakerveld opened from the hijack to 2,000. Paul Runcan called in the cutoff and Arnaud Schmitt defended the big blind.

Schmitt checked the J♣2♠2♣ as did Lakerveld. Runcan fired a bet of 3,200 to which Schmitt folded and Lakerveld called.

The K♠ turn was checked around before Lakerveld led for 7,900 on the 4♠ river. Runcan called and was shown A♠A♣. Runcan mucked and said "nice hand" to his opponent.

Jessica Teusl had been short-stacked for a long time before she finally shoved her last 5,400 from the small blind, getting a call from Tudor Zapsa in the big blind.

At showdown, Zapsa revealed A♣9♥. Teusl, seeing the ace, remarked, "Of course you have an ace. Dealer, please give me a seven," as she turned over Q♥7♣.

The dealer spread the flop and turn: K♦6♥K♥2♦. Teusl quickly switched tactics, now asking for a queen. But instead, the 7♦ appeared on the river, giving her the much-needed double-up and keeping her in the game.

Runcan Eliminated After Losing Two All In's

Runcan's Big Slick couldn't hold across the 6♠6♥7♥2♣9♠ runout and Karpov secured a double up.

In the next hand, Yohay Bullkich opened from under the gun to 2,200. Daniel Lakerveld called on the button before Runcan moved all in from the big blind for 18,500. Bullkich then reraised all in to isolate Runcan's stack. Lakerveld then moved all in for 55,200. He had Runcan covered but not Bullkich.

Savinelli then checked the 7♦ turn prompting Nahm to bet 1,500. Savinelli then put in the check-raise to 11,500. Nahm made the call. On the 6♥ river, Savinelli went into the tank before wagering 28,000. Nahm called quickly. Savinelli showed J♣3♣ for a missed flush draw bluff and Nahm tabled A♦9♦ for a nine high straight.
