With 37,000 already in the pot and the board showing Q364J, Anja Wisney was first to act and moved all-in. Ilija Savevski asked for a count before deciding to call, leading to a showdown.

Savinelli Stacked, Floor and Tournament Director Called

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Patrick Baranyai
Patrick Baranyai

Carlo Savinelli opened from the cutoff to 2,500. Stephen Nahm reraised to 7,000 from the button. Patrick Baranyai called in the small blind.

Both Baranyal and Savinelli checked to Nahm who bet 14,000 on the 975 flop. Both Baranyal and Savinelli called. They both checked again to Nahm who sized up to 55,000 on the J turn. Baranyal then moved all in for 109,000.

Savinelli went deep into the tank. Three minutes elapsed before the clock was called on him and a member of floor staff came over to mediate the situation. He was even given longer than the usual allotted 30 seconds.

After another few minutes go by, some of his tablemates suggested he had had enough time. Savinelli then requested to speak to the tournament director. He came over and the situation was explained to him. He gave Savinelli 30 seconds to act. Seconds go by and he makes the call, as does Nahm, who had both players covered.

Carlo Savinelli: J9All in
Patrick Baranyai: 77All in
Stephen Nahm: QQ

The 6 river meant Baranyal scooped a sizable pot and Savinelli was sent to the rail in what could have been the longest running hand of play today in this tournament.

Betrix's Aces Prevail as Hallabro's Queens Fall Short

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Manoe Betrix
Manoe Betrix

Manoe Betrix, seated under the gun, opened the action with a raise to 2,400, only to face a three-bet from Marcus Hallabro, who pushed it up to 10,000. After a moment's reflection, Betrix decided to call.

On the flop of 6107, Hallabro checked, and Betrix seized the opportunity to bet 16,000. Hallabro went deep into the tank before ultimately deciding to go all-in. Betrix snap-called, revealing AA. Hallabro showed QQ, holding a decent pair of queens but needing some help from the turn and river to turn the tide.

The dealer turned over the J and 9, but there was no miracle for Hallabro, allowing Betrix to secure another double-up.

Moolhuizen Makes More: Two Big Pots, No Problem

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

With 23,000 already in the pot and the board showing KQJ3, Mateusz Moolhuizen decided to check-call Ilija Savevski’s bet of 11,500 after giving it some thought.

When the 9 hit the river, Moolhuizen took charge and fired out a hefty bet of 41,000. Savevski went into the tank for a while but eventually folded.

In the very next hand, Moolhuizen was back at it again. This time, there was about 18,000 in the pot with a flop of 785. Alf Martinsson checked to him, and Moolhuizen made it 14,000. Martinsson called, and they both checked the 6 turn.

When the river brought the 10, Martinsson checked again. Moolhuizen went all-in, putting Martinsson in a tough spot. After three long minutes of thinking, someone finally called for the clock, and the floor counted him down. Ultimately, Martinsson had no choice but to fold, as Moolhuizen kept applying the pressure and racked up another big pot.
