Ionita Hits an Eight to Send Hartwig Home

Level 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stefan Ionita raised to 8,000 under the gun and Philipp Hartwig shoved for 45,000 from the cutoff. After it folded back to him Ionita called.

Philipp Hartwig: AK All in
Stefan Ionita: A8

Hartwig had Ionita dominated, but the 1083 flop put Ionita ahead with a pair of eights. The rest of the board ran out 7Q and Ionita had eliminated Hartwig.

Iosub Cracks Scherle's Jacks

Level 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dragos Iosub and Fabian Scherle had their chips in the middle preflop with the latter being at risk for his stack of around 40,000 .

Fabian Scherle: JJ All in
Dragos Iosub: A8

Scherle's head sunk when the dealer put out a flop of 710A, as Iosub paired his ace to take the lead. The 9 turn did give some extra outs to Scherle, but he couldn't find any of them on the 3 river.

Livshitz Spikes a Straight to Bust Tsvetanov

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Gabi Livshitz
Gabi Livshitz

Presiyan Tsvetanov raised to 8,000 from middle position. Vitalii Shcherba called from the seat next to him. May Mor and Gabi Livshitz called from the blinds.

The action checked to Tsvetanov on the 3K5 flop and he bet 15,000. Shcherba and Livshitz called, but Mor folded.

After Livshitz checked the Q turn, Tsvetanov bet again, this time for 25,000. Only Livshitz called.

Upon seeing the 7 river, Livshitz shoved for Tsvetanov's remaining 45,000. Tsvetanov thought it over for a few minutes before making the call.

Livshitz showed 64 for a rivered seven-high straight, which was enough to claim Tsvetanov's bounty as Tsvetanov turned over KJ for a pair of kings.

Runcan Railed by the River

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Paul Runcan
Paul Runcan

Paul Runcan shoved from the button for around 70,000, and Flaviano Cammisuli had a decision in the big blind.

"Fold," said Runcan. "Fold, just fold," he added. Cammisuli was in a bounty-hunting mood so did the opposite of what Runcan said, and called.

Paul Runcan: A4 All in
Flaviano Cammisuli: Q9

Runcan kept his lead on the 7103 flop and Cammisuli added outs on the K turn as he picked up a gutshot straight draw. It wasn't the straight draw that hit the river, but the Q was good enough to see Cammisuli win the pot, which eliminated Runcan.

Petroni Picks Up a Bounty

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Bogdan Roman , Giovanni Petroni and Paul Runcan all just got all-in preflop. Runcan had the covering stack, and had the chance to claim two bounties if he could find a way to win.

Bogdan Roman: AJ All in
Giovanni Petroni : KJ All in
Paul Runcan: K9

The flop of 5Q9 put Runcan in the lead with a pair of nines, but the 10 turn improved Petroni to the nut straight. The Q came on the river and Petroni had virtually tripled up whilst claiming the bounty of Roman,

Ionita Claims Lormel's Bounty

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Over on Table #155, the dealer was counting out the stack of Yann Lormel as he had just lost an all-in pot against Stefan Ionita.

The board read 631045 and Ionita's AA were good as Lormel's hand had been mucked. Once the dealer counted out the stacks, Lormel was informed he had slightly less chips than Ionita, which meant he was eliminated.

Kun Hunts Sakinis' Bounty, Loses a Flip

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jiri Kun min-raised from the hijack and Robertas Sakinis shoved from the big blind for 71,000. Kun thought for a while but with bounties on the line, he eventually decided to call.

Robertas Sakinis: 77 All in
Jiri Kun: QJ

Sakinis needed to win a flip to stay alive and maintained his lead after the 33A flop. Kun's quest to pick up a bounty would need to wait a bit longer as the 7 turn left him drawing dead, with an inconsequential A dropping on the river.
